Dajuma at the front-page of GreenPearls Newsletter

25 March 2019/in Dajuma, Eco-Resort, News, West Bali

Since 6 years, Dajuma is member of Greenpearls community. Year after year, this German company built a network of tourism professionals by carefully selecting after an in-depth audit, those really committed to the protection of their natural and cultural environment. Regularly, Greenpearls publishes the unique stories of its partners for whom environmental protection and social equity governs everyday operation.
This month we are happy to be in the spotlight of Greenpearls Newsletter together with West Bali. It perfectly reflects the spirit of this part of Bali, particularly appreciated by the visitors for its beauty and authenticity. Thank you Greenpearls to help us promoting this hidden gem!

DAJUMA AT ITB 2019

11 March 2019/in Dajuma, Eco-Resort, News, West Bali

This year again, Dajuma was invited by the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia to participate as exhibitor in the famous ITB Berlin from March 6th to 10th.
With 10’000 exhibitors and 160’000 visitors from 180 countries and 6 continents, ITB is the most important tourism fair in the world.
A unique opportunity for Dajuma to meet our European partners and invent with them some new services which will hopefully astonish our guests!

DAJUMA AT ITB ASIA 2018

22 October 2018/in Dajuma, Eco-Resort, News, West Bali

Happy to be part of the 1000 selected exhibitors, another important appointment for Dajuma this year was our participation in ITB Asia. The event took place at the emblematic Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from 17 to 19 October 2018, a three-day conference and exhibition recording an impressive 25,000 business appointments. The exhibition hosted more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 1,000 buyers this year, representing more than 127 countries. The trend is definitively in favor of sustainable and eco-responsible tourism, travellers looking for more and more valuable and off-the beaten tracks experiences. What is exactly our raison d’être and motto!

DAJUMA ADVENTURE: PULUKAN ECOTOURISM TOUR

25 June 2018/in News, Pulukan, Tours, West Bali

One outstanding feature of Dajuma is its proximity with the Pulukan State Plantation. Imagine a huge area of 1200 ha planted with all kinds of trees and flowers where kids and parents are happy to discover the wealth of Bali flora. Starting from Dajuma around 9:00 in an especially arranged 4 WD jeep you will see first how is made the rubber from rubber trees, from harvesting the sap and treating it. After a nice walk around the plantation where our guide will explain all the species met on the path, you will be invited to taste a coconut freshly harvested from the tree. Comfortably installed on the roof of the jeep, you will then cross the plantation and rivers up to its culminant point which will be reached for the lunch, a pantagruelic meal prepared in the pure Balinese tradition by our staff. The return to Dajuma will be around 3 p.m. after a stop in the holy place of Bunut Bolong, a famous place in Bali where the road crosses a multi-centenary ficus tree. Enjoy!

DAJUMA AT ITB BERLIN 2018

12 March 2018/in Dajuma, News, West Bali

Marker of the year in the tourism industry, ITB Berlin took place this year from March 7th to 11th. Like in 2017, Dajuma was lucky enough this year to participate as exhibitor in the Indonesia Pavillion, a unique opportunity to meet our partners and to understand the new trends in the market place. We like this specific moment in the year where we have time to exchange experiences with our colleagues and partners and find new ideas in order to make our guests even more happy. The organisation of the Indonesian Pavillion was just perfect thanks to the professionalism of Wonderful Indonesia organisation and the Ministry of Tourism. Many thanks guys for supporting so brilliantly our activities!

BOOKGREENER GATHERING

22 January 2018/in Bali, Dajuma, Eco-Resort, News

Last week we had the pleasure to welcome the monthly meeting of Bookgreener members which gathers hoteliers in Bali strongly engaged for environmental protection and sustainable tourism.
Every month, under the dynamic guidance of its founder Alex Tsuk, its members like to exchange experiences on various topics. This month, the topic was “How to communicate about Agung Volcano”. 3 internationally known lecturers from Canada (live), Island and Peru (via Skype) brought their experience of managing communication in similar situations of volcano eruptions. A very interesting day of work ponctutated in the middle by a delicious lunch prepared by our French Chef Paul. The day before, our Bookgreener friends were invited to visit some West Bali hidden treasures, its stunning rice fields, the jegog music, the absolutely unique new Green Cliff, Perancak and its beautiful buggies boats and finally the sea turtles conservatory. A nice moment of sharing!
