This year again, Dajuma was invited by the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia to participate as exhibitor in the famous ITB Berlin from March 6th to 10th.
With 10’000 exhibitors and 160’000 visitors from 180 countries and 6 continents, ITB is the most important tourism fair in the world.
A unique opportunity for Dajuma to meet our European partners and invent with them some new services which will hopefully astonish our guests!
We are pleased to introduce our new video 2019. Based on a survey with our guests, it focuses this year on the imaginary or, to be more specific, on how we dream Bali before going there, according to his tastes and desires. We hope you like it! Great start for Dajuma this year with a new procedure aimed at improving the comfort of our guests. Every day, around 6:00 p.m. our housekeeping staff prepares the beds of our guests by adjusting and cleaning sheets and pillows and installing if necessary the mosquito net after having checked the absence of insects inside. At the end, some frangipani flowers are disposed on the bed, bringing their delicate fragrance. A good way to have a revigorating night in a fresh and fragrant atmosphere! Very festive atmosphere this December 31st in Dajuma to celebrate the new year! Around a delicious “Babi Guling” (grilled pig) more than 70 guests shared the last hours of the year in a varied musical atmosphere, alternating Jegog, modern songs and traditional dances. On the last strokes of midnight, they exchanged their wishes under the stars while a magnificent fireworks was fired from the beach. All Dajuma staff wishes you a very happy 2019!
Among greatest pleasures we can have during our vacation, reading books in inspiring locations such as Dajuma comes in the first positions. Not so fashionable compared with reading on smartphones and tablets? Not true! The idea and the pictures of this blog come from one of our guest, fond of reading. Hence, year after year our library had enriched with books left by our guests from all around the world, in all languages. Installed in a comfortable long chair with the breeze of the ocean and the song of the birds as companions, is there a better place where to savor a good book?
Happy to be part of the 1000 selected exhibitors, another important appointment for Dajuma this year was our participation in ITB Asia. The event took place at the emblematic Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from 17 to 19 October 2018, a three-day conference and exhibition recording an impressive 25,000 business appointments. The exhibition hosted more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 1,000 buyers this year, representing more than 127 countries. The trend is definitively in favor of sustainable and eco-responsible tourism, travellers looking for more and more valuable and off-the beaten tracks experiences. What is exactly our raison d’être and motto!

We just completed the renovation of our cottages. Under the direction of Muri (pictured, second from the right) a team of skilled workers have completely renovated – floor-to-ceiling -, bedroom, bathroom and terrace so as to make our cottages even more comfortable. A big change has been made in the bathroom, now open on nature with its freestanding bathtub, its two basins, its suspended toilet, its private garden and its outdoor shower. What a pleasure to take a shower under the stars! Our regular customers have all acclaimed this renovation. We hope you will be of the same opinion during your next stay!
Marker of the year in the tourism industry, ITB Berlin took place this year from March 7th to 11th. Like in 2017, Dajuma was lucky enough this year to participate as exhibitor in the Indonesia Pavillion, a unique opportunity to meet our partners and to understand the new trends in the market place. We like this specific moment in the year where we have time to exchange experiences with our colleagues and partners and find new ideas in order to make our guests even more happy. The organisation of the Indonesian Pavillion was just perfect thanks to the professionalism of Wonderful Indonesia organisation and the Ministry of Tourism. Many thanks guys for supporting so brilliantly our activities!
This week, we decided to publish our blog on the theme “Dajuma Sunsets” but seen from the viewpoint of our guests through their own pictures. Oriented full West the resort presents stunning sunsets which are appreciated by our guests particularly those who like to photograph this natural phenomenon. But the problem is under which angle should we take such picture? Because, from many locations around the resort, the result is different as shown on the photo montage. And that should not stop you from enjoying a good glass of wine. Which angle will be yours?
