DAJUMA AWARDED “TRI HITA KARANA”

Last Friday, took place in the Art Center of Denapasar, the “Tri Hita Karana” awards ceremony. It rewards Balinese institutions such as hotels, hospitals, schools, universities, foundations, etc. committed to apply the THK philosophy which is based on 3 key principles: harmony with the Gods, harmony with nature and harmony between humans. The conformity is evaluated by independent auditors from hundreds of criteria stringently checked. During the 2019 THK Awards, there were 182 hotels and institutions consisting of 54 5-star hotels; 16 Boutique hotels; 48 4-star hotels; 8 1,2 and 3 star hotels; 5 budget hotels; 12 tourist attractions; 12 Government Agencies including Hospitals and Foundations; 21 Schools (junior and senior high schools); and 7 Universities.
Puri Dajuma won a silver award in the category of four-star hotels that implemented the concept of life balance in harmony, in the environmental management in accordance with article 5, Chapter III, Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 10 of 2009 and the Global Code of Ethic for Tourism of the United Nations.
It crowns 17 years of effort in this respect. A well deserved reward for our staff! Well done guys!

NEW MENUS 2019

After two months of intensive concertation between our 8 cooks and their 3 leaders, Paul, Rudi and Dedi, the babies were born in top form! Three menus were hence created for our Rama, Shinta and Bendega restaurants. Very varied and full of inventions, they give an increasingly important place for vegetarian dishes and local specialties. Each dish has been deeply evaluated in terms of freshness, texture, taste and presentation. Moreover, everyday, a dish-of-the-day is proposed to our guests, which recipe is decided very early in the morning depending on the market.

Dajuma just recieved from the Asia Pacific Tourism & Travel Federation a new award as « Best Eco-Tourism Property in South East Asia ». It rewards our continual improvement policy of the 8 pillars of our quality and environmental policy (http://www.dajuma.com/#/eco-resort). Dajuma received on December 4th in Budapest a new award from the Hotel of the Year Awards organisation (http://hoteloftheyearawards.com).
According to their procedures, this award is the “demonstration of impeccable standards of both service & facilities, a standard that is derived from professionally critiqued stays at each individual hotel. It’s thereby a statement of authenticity for the hotel guest, where the hotel’s service & facilities are utilised, examined & considered by professional judges in an accurate & comprehensive manner. »

Puri Dajuma has recently gained its 4 stars from the Indonesian Association of Hotels and Restaurants (PHRI). This classification is given after an indepth audit of the hotel procedures and practices, where the service to the guests is weighing for 50%, the management for 30% and the equipment for 20%. It crowns 10 years of effort from its staff to bring the most attentive service to its guests with a top class equipement very respectful of our exceptional natural environment. Congratulations guys!
