Last week Dajuma received a most glowing rating from Booking.com, based on more than 130 verified customer testimonials, with 9.8/10 for its villas and 9.4/10 for its suites and cottages, respectively. This outstanding result is particularly appreciated in this difficult period of the pandemic and rewards the exceptional qualities of our staff. Last week we had the happy surprise to receive another award from a major player in the hotel industry Hotelscombined. It is particularly welcome in this period of endless pandemic!
HotelsCombined is a hotel search engine founded in 2005, with headquarters in Sydney, Australia. They serve over 300 Million travellers each year.
Frommer’s recognized HotelsCombined as Best Hotel Booking Site two years in a row for 2020 and 2021.
They reward hotels using a strict set of criteria such as the quality and consistency of reviews, the absence of recurring or unresolved issues with customers, popularity of the property and the overall resulting score.

Last Friday, took place in the Art Center of Denapasar, the “Tri Hita Karana” awards ceremony. It rewards Balinese institutions such as hotels, hospitals, schools, universities, foundations, etc. committed to apply the THK philosophy which is based on 3 key principles: harmony with the Gods, harmony with nature and harmony between humans. The conformity is evaluated by independent auditors from hundreds of criteria stringently checked. During the 2019 THK Awards, there were 182 hotels and institutions consisting of 54 5-star hotels; 16 Boutique hotels; 48 4-star hotels; 8 1,2 and 3 star hotels; 5 budget hotels; 12 tourist attractions; 12 Government Agencies including Hospitals and Foundations; 21 Schools (junior and senior high schools); and 7 Universities.
Puri Dajuma won a silver award in the category of four-star hotels that implemented the concept of life balance in harmony, in the environmental management in accordance with article 5, Chapter III, Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 10 of 2009 and the Global Code of Ethic for Tourism of the United Nations.
It crowns 17 years of effort in this respect. A well deserved reward for our staff! Well done guys!
We just received from the South African company TWISHT (www.twisht.com) a new award entitled “2018 Global Experience Award”.
It is different from other awards we already received this year insofar as it is related to guest satisfaction. The award is indeed allocated to hotels achieving a guest satisfaction rating above 80% on all the major websites.
With the Hall of Fame distinction we receive from Trip Advisor since 2014, this is the best appreciation we can dream of! It rewards the exceptional relationship all our staff has with our guests! Well done guys!

Because of its location nearby the famous Medewi surfing spot, Dajuma is the ideal place where to stay by combining the best of surfing and the discovery of one of the most rich and authentic parts of Bali. Medewi is renowned for its famously long left-hand wave which has been praised by numerous former surf champions and is ideal for all levels.
