We just received confirmation that our hotel has won an award from the World Luxury Hotels Organisation (http://www.luxuryhotelawards.com).
It comes after the Trip Advisor Hall of Fame and the Luxury Eco-Resort of the Year awards that we received a few months ago. It makes all Dajuma staff both proud and delighted because these awards are given after an independent and stringent polling and auditing process.
The award will be offered to the winners on the occasion of a Gala Ceremony which will take place in Harbour Grand Hong Kong, on Oct 24th, 2015. The full 2015 Winner’s List will be published live on www.luxuryhotelawards.com the day after the Gala Event.

A beautiful tradition in our hotel is to celebrate birthdays of our guests by surprise. This is what happened recently with Anna from France, for her 13th anniversary. After a delicious dinner served in our Teppanyaki restaurant, suddenly the lights went out and a beautiful anniversary cake prepared in secret by the kitchen brought to their table together with a nice decoration hat. What a surprise! Happy birthday Anna!

There is a lovely tradition in Bali which consists in flying kites all around the island, all the year long. Since their youngest age, Balinese people are used to practice this activity, starting from the construction of the kite up to tough competitions with a strong moment in the year with the Bali Kite Festival, an annual international kite festival held in Padang Galak area in Sanur. Traditional giant kites (4 meters in width and almost 10 meters in length) are made and flown competitively by teams from the villages (banjar) of Bali. The event is a seasonal religious festival intended to send a message to the Hindu Gods to create abundant crops and harvests.The teams consist of about 70 to 80 people, each team with its own Gamelon band, flag bearers and flyers.

We recently changed the edge of our 20 x 10 m overflowing swimming pool for a natural stone from India which is just incredibly beautiful : the color of the stone is changing all the time, depending on the light and the quantity of water on it.
From golden irisations to purple reflects passing through silver shimmers, it is a real pleasure to stay on the edge of the pool.
