UNIQUE BALI
When we first discovered Bali nearly 30 years ago, we were instantly captivated by the island’s unique charm—its breathtaking nature, rich culture, deep spirituality, and above all, the extraordinary kindness of its people. Today, despite rapid development, Bali has preserved much of its soul, especially in the two areas where Dajuma is located: Pekutatan in Jembrana and Pupuan Sawah in the Tabanan regency. In both places, we live in close harmony with the local communities—fishermen by the sea at Dajuma Beach, and farmers in the rice fields of Dajuma Terrace. All our staff come from neighboring villages, and we are proud that many have been with us since the very beginning in 2002. Religious harmony is also a cornerstone of daily life here, with different faiths coexisting peacefully for generations. In short, Bali is not just a beautiful holiday destination—it is also a powerful example of what harmonious coexistence can look like. A valuable reflection in these troubled times.
