DAJUMA AT ITB ASIA 2018
/in Dajuma, Eco-Resort, News, West BaliHappy to be part of the 1000 selected exhibitors, another important appointment for Dajuma this year was our participation in ITB Asia. The event took place at the emblematic Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from 17 to 19 October 2018, a three-day conference and exhibition recording an impressive 25,000 business appointments. The exhibition hosted more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 1,000 buyers this year, representing more than 127 countries. The trend is definitively in favor of sustainable and eco-responsible tourism, travellers looking for more and more valuable and off-the beaten tracks experiences. What is exactly our raison d’être and motto!

WHY WALK TO THE NEXT POOL WHEN YOU CAN TAKE THE SLIDE?
/in Bendega villas, Dajuma, Eco-Resort, News, Swimming pool, West BaliIf there is one thing to bring to the Hall of Nautical Games, it’s definitely the toboggan! Everybody remembers from the childhood the mix of fear and exitement when one discovered for the first time this slope full of water. This is exactly what our guests are saying about out slide linking the 2 pools of our Bendega swimming pool. Kids and parents enjoy a lot this unusual pool with its 45 meters long swimming lane, suspendend whirlpool tub and the famous slide. Not to be missed next time you decide to visit us!
DAJUMA BEACHES
/in Beach, Dajuma, News, Sport, Surfing, West BaliOur guests are often posing the question: “Is it safe to swim in the sea from Dajuma? And what kind of beach is it, sand or rocks? And what kind of sand? Very important questions when you plan to stay for some days isn’t it?
Let’s answer as precisely as possible: yes it is possible to swim in the sea as long as you respect the warning flag (yellow=go, red=nogo). We recommend to swim on the West beach which is very safe for swimming, surfing and bodyboarding. Despite the fact the East beach is everyday used by local lobsters fishermen, we do not recommend to swim there because of currents.
Depending on the tides, the sand of our beaches is either volcanic or coral-sand i.e. either dark or light as shown on the picture. In both cases, it is very soft under your feet with no risk to be hurt during your swimming sessions. Last but not least, just in front of Dajuma is a cape which discovers itself on 200 meters at each low tide, a true paradise for kids (and birds…) who would like to discover the underwater life. It is also the preferred place of local fishermen fishing from the seashore. See you soon in our swimming paradise!
AN AMAZING ANNIVERSARY
/in Dajuma, News, People, Restaurant, Wedding, West BaliFriday night, our guests could hear a nice music in the garden coming from an unusual place close to our Spa. When approaching, they could see an amazing arrangement: the Gazebo entirely decorated for a romantic dinner, closeby, a celebration area also superbly decorated and, between the two, a traditional Rindik orchestra so typical of Bali, composed of 3 players from the surrounding villages.
All this spectacular set-up was arranged by our staff to celebrate the 25th Wedding Anniversary of our guests Mircea & Carmen from Romania. They decided to celebrate it in a little bit unique and different atmosphere in Dajuma. Starting with a blessing wedding ceremony on the beach, then took place the main blessing ceremony, ending up with a romantic dinner accompanied by the traditional Rindik music.
Congratulations dear Carmen and Mircea!
