MELUKAT CEREMONY AT DAJUMA

Dajuma recently had the pleasure of welcoming a yoga group from Argentina. During their stay, the group experienced the Melukat ceremony—a sacred Hindu purification ritual in Bali, intended to cleanse the body and soul of negative energy and spiritual impurities. When performed on the beach, as shown in the photo, the ritual takes on even greater meaning. The sea is believed to possess powerful spiritual energy, deeply connected to healing and divine forces. Guided by a Balinese priest and accompanied by offerings and prayers, the ceremony is typically held on auspicious days, such as the full moon, or following personal hardships. Its purpose is to restore harmony, dispel misfortune, and promote spiritual renewal. The experience was deeply appreciated by our guests.

Our Bendega Pool Deck has undergone a renovation. To enhance your experience, we’ve decided to replace the previous merbau wood floor with elegant, comfortable floor tiles that offer a more modern and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, we installed a stylish new railing with integrated lighting, ensuring a beautiful, illuminated view on the ocean and Medewi surf spot. We believe these improvements will provide a more relaxing and enjoyable environment for all of our guests. 22nd ANNIVERSARY OF DAJUMA BEACH

The 22nd anniversary of Dajuma Beach was recently celebrated in joyous harmony, bringing together our 48 dedicated employees for a traditional Balinese Megebung feast. This special occasion marked not only a culinary delight but also symbolized the deep bond shared by our two families from France and Bali, who have together nurtured this human adventure. Over the years, it has witnessed inspiring milestones, including the brand new opening in July 2024 of the serene Dajuma Terrace nestled amidst the lush rice fields of Pupuan Sawah, a perfect complement of Dajuma Beach. During these 22 years, the path has not been without challenges, such as navigating the unpredictable COVID crisis, but the resilience and unity of the team have been unwavering. As the venture evolves, 2025 promises exciting new developments with the complete renovation of the lobby after having improved in december the 300 sqm Bendega pool deck, so much appreciated by our guests.  We sincerely thank our cherished guests, friends and supporters for standing by us on this remarkable journey. Many more coming years of shared memories and success in perspective!

The whole family, including the children, actively participated in every step, from selecting fresh ingredients to the final plating.
