THE MELUKAT PURIFICATION CEREMONY AT DAJUMA TERRACE

The Melukat purification ceremony took place last week in the serene surroundings of Dajuma Terrace and was lovingly guided by our spiritual yoga teacher. Embraced by nature and the calming ambiance of the terrace, two of our guests, Ina and Anja, participated in the ritual with open hearts and genuine enthusiasm. Deeply rooted in Balinese spiritual tradition, the Melukat ceremony is intended to cleanse negative energy, release emotional burdens, and restore inner balance. Through the sacred flow of water, guided intention, and mindful presence, participants are invited to let go of what no longer serves them and reconnect with a profound sense of clarity and calm. The ceremony became a meaningful moment of reflection and renewal, leaving participants feeling lighter, grounded, and harmoniously aligned in body, mind, and soul—offering yet another beautiful way to discover the rich spiritual heritage of Balinese culture.
