YOGA RETREAT AT DAJUMA LED BY MARY BUE

We are delighted to welcome again Mary Bue from the USA (marybue.com), a talented yoga teacher, award-winning musician and retreat guide. She is leading a yoga group at Dajuma, including 14 participants, who embarked on a transformative 7-day retreat. Opening with a ceremony at Baruna Hall on February 23rd, they seamlessly transitioned into their first invigorating class. Welcomed warmly, they immersed themselves in Balinese culture, delighting in traditional dance at a vibrant evening party. Beyond yoga, their journey in Dajuma encompasses exploration of the enchanting landscapes and rich heritage of west Bali. Enjoy a lot the spirit of Bali!

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming a yoga retreat led by Mary Bue from Minneapolis. As stated on her website (marybue.com) “Mary is a songwriter, Nada yogi, traveler, runner, vegan, retreat guide, music and yoga teacher, often traveling this beautiful world. Named best songwriter of 2020 by City Pages, her music addresses sacred subjects and a deep concern for the environment. Her latest album The World is Your Lover was released in 2020 to rave reviews from around the world.”
Last night they celebrated the end of the retreat with a Teppanyaki dinner hosted by our Senior Chef Dedi. And we will have the pleasure of welcoming her again in March 2023 for another yoga retreat. Not to be missed! (http://marybue.com/Bali2023).

This is the message our kitchen team wants to send you this week. After 2 years of reduced activity, not to say sometimes non-existent, our cooks are today particularly motivated to make you discover the new Dajuma 2022 menu during this period of recovery, certainly still shy but nevertheless very present. This new version of the menu required a lot of thought with particular attention given to new vegetarian and vegan recipes. Everything should be ready in June, for your next visit.
